Michael Lowry finished his service in Congress as Chief of Staff to Congressman Robert Aderholt (R-AL-4), the most senior Republican serving on the House Appropriations Committee. After over a decade serving in a variety of positions in the U.S. House of Representatives, Mr. Lowry founded Backstop Strategies, LLC, a concierge-level Washington, D.C. based lobbying and government affairs firm.
Mr. Lowry joined Congressman Aderholt after serving as Chief of Staff for Congressman Neal Dunn (R-FL-2) whom he successfully helped land a spot on the coveted House Energy and Commerce Committee which oversees many of the issues driving the U.S. economy, including energy, technology and health care. Prior to joining Congressman Dunn, in March 2018, Mr. Lowry served as Legislative Director for Congresswoman Ann Wagner (R-MO-2) of the House Financial Services Committee from 2015 to 2018.
